Horse-drawn Sleigh Ride in Lăzărești: During winter, one of the local attractions that has become a tradition is the horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow. During the approximately 3-4 hour excursion (about 14 km round trip), we will embark on a journey through the footsteps of wild boars and bears. We will stop on Hegyesteto Mountain, where a charming view of the Ciuc Basin awaits us. The place seems like it’s from a story, a story in which you become a part from the first moment you step on these lands. We will taste real mineral waters, visit a wild animal observatory, warm up by a fire, savoring hot tea, mulled wine, or traditional pálinka. Traditional outdoor picnics with tastings of 100% natural local products (bacon, cheese, homemade bread, etc.) are not to be missed. Groups over 20 people are treated to Transylvanian goulash. On the way back, we will visit the mofeta and the traditional Nyír bath, admiring post-volcanic activity, which manifests itself today in the form of carbonated mineral waters, mud, and healing gases.

Bear Watching: We invite you to observe brown bears in their natural habitat at a bear observatory near Băile Tușna. Bears (Ursus arctos) can be observed in the wild throughout the year. Wildlife bear watching (with a money-back guarantee) is a program of approximately 2-3 hours.
